Too Much Joy - Christmas Single
The guys from TMJ all found themselves in New York City during the same week
October 2002, and figured what the hell. They went into the Loft and banged
out two brand-new compositions. The A side's called "Ruby Left a Present
Underneath the Christmas Tree." It's a sugary little slice of power pop pie,
and throbs with the pleasures of the band's favorite
pagan-holiday-that's-been-co-opted-by-a-major-religion. The B side (this is
a CD single, so the concept of sides is simply metaphorical) is a loud,
twisted piece of distorted bliss called "Canadian Girlfriends."
This single is available through the Susquehanna Hat Company and the Real Music Store (download).
