Too Much Joy - Besides
Promotional EP, released to radio in 1991. Basically, it's a very large single: an edit of the existential power ballad "Nothing On My Mind" is the A-side, and 4 oddities make up the B-side. "Soft Core" was a pre-"Son of Sam I Am" demo; "Drum Machine" was pulled from "Green Eggs and Crack" (which was not commercially available at the time); "Take A Lot of Drugs" was a Besides outtake. The acoustic version of "King of Beers" was recorded in a hurry specifically for Besides, mostly because we used to play it that way at radio stations and it never sounded too horrible.
